What comes back

  • Tags
  • Intent duplicates
  • Coverage gaps
  • Dormant content

What SaveAds cannot do

Read-only: SaveAds does not publish, does not edit a post, does not touch a page. It writes the fixes into its report; you apply them on your side.

No click, no budget, no order: this site carries content, and content is what SaveAds reads on it.

Integrations

WordPress integration

Search Console says which queries you show up on. WordPress says what you have written. Together they say the only useful thing: which page is missing, which one is a duplicate, and which one deserves a rewrite.

What does the SaveAds WordPress integration read?

The WordPress integration reads your published pages and posts, with their titles, descriptions and dates. SaveAds spots missing or truncated tags, content targeting the same query, and questions no page answers. It then proposes rewritten copy. Nothing is published: the connection is read-only, and the decision stays yours.

An inventory, not another plugin

SaveAds drops nothing on your site and adds no script to your pages. It reads the REST API that ships with WordPress, like any authorised reader, and derives the list of what exists: pages, posts, title, description, last modified date.

That is what the public scan cannot do. A crawler opening nine pages sees nine pages; the connection sees all one hundred and eighty, including the ones no internal link reaches and that you had forgotten.

What the inventory reveals that no outsider sees

Two posts written two years apart answering the same question are invisible from the homepage. They are very visible in a list sorted by topic — and Google has always seen them: that is cannibalisation, and the weaker of the two pages wins.

  • Tags — titles and metas missing, truncated, or identical from one page to the next.
  • Intent duplicates — two pages after the same query, to merge or to separate.
  • Coverage gaps — the questions your market asks that no page covers.
  • Dormant content — pages no internal link reaches any more.

The AI hands you copy, not instructions

“Improve your meta description” has never moved anyone forward. SaveAds proposes the rewritten tag, at the right length, in the language of the page and on the query Search Console already shows — ready to paste, or to throw away.

The same principle as on your campaigns: the tool prepares, you approve. There is no code path by which SaveAds would publish to your site, and the permission requested would not allow it either.

The connection, and how to close it

WordPress uses an application password: you create one from your profile, hand it to SaveAds, and delete it from the same screen the day you no longer want it. It is not your login password, and it grants access only to what your account can already read.

Out of scope

  • Read-only: SaveAds does not publish, edit a page, or schedule anything.
  • No plugin installed, no script added to your pages.
  • Drafts and private content are not read.
  • The site counts towards your plan’s connected-source limit.

Frequently asked questions

Can SaveAds publish or edit my posts?

No. The connection is read-only, and the code calls no write endpoint. Proposed rewrites appear inside SaveAds, to paste if you like them: you publish, from WordPress.

Do I need Yoast, Rank Math or another SEO plugin?

No, but if you have one, its titles and descriptions are the ones SaveAds reads — because those are what your site actually renders. Without a plugin, SaveAds reads what WordPress outputs by default.

How is this different from the free SEO scan?

The scan opens nine pages without asking for anything and says what is visible from outside. The connection sees the whole site, orphan pages included, and crosses that inventory with your Search Console queries — which the scan does not have.

Is my content used to train a model?

No. Your content is read to produce your recommendations, and nothing else. It is not fed into a training set, nor shared with another SaveAds account.
