What SaveAds cannot do
No writing yet: write permission is being obtained from Meta. Creation and optimisation from SaveAds being activated; until then, a Meta recommendation is applied in Ads Manager.
Facebook and Instagram come back together: they are two placements of one account, not two sources.
Meta Ads integration (Facebook, Instagram)
One Meta ad account covers both networks. SaveAds reads it today — campaigns, creatives, results — and creating and optimising your campaigns there is being activated.
What does the SaveAds Meta integration do?
The Meta integration reads the ad accounts your authorisation exposes: campaigns, budgets, spend, conversions and creatives, across Facebook and Instagram placements. Today a Meta recommendation is applied from Ads Manager. Creating and optimising your Meta campaigns from SaveAds is being activated: write permission is being obtained from Meta.
One authorisation, several accounts
On Meta the token belongs to the connection, not to the ad account: one authorisation covers every account it reaches. Connecting Meta once is therefore enough to surface all accessible accounts, within your plan’s connected-account limit.
Creatives, not just campaigns
That is the useful particularity of this integration. On Meta, performance degrades at creative level long before it shows at campaign level: SaveAds therefore returns the ads themselves with their results, which makes ad fatigue legible.
Creation and optimisation: being activated
Writing into a Meta account requires a separate permission subject to platform review; the request is under way. Until it is granted, offering an “apply” button would promise an action that fails on click. Until then, SaveAds states the action and the exact place to carry it out in Ads Manager.
Out of scope
- No changes yet: pausing, budget and ad creation are being activated.
- No audience, pixel or event management.
- No search terms: the concept does not exist on Meta.
- Figures are reproduced as Meta supplies them, with its attribution windows.
Frequently asked questions
Does Instagram need a separate connection?
- No. A Meta ad account covers Facebook and Instagram placements; one connection is enough.
Do the figures match Meta Ads Manager exactly?
- Gaps are possible — time zones, attribution windows, later restatements. SaveAds reproduces what the API supplies without correcting it.
Can I revoke access from Meta?
- Yes, from the app settings of your Meta account, or from SaveAds.
Connect Meta
One authorisation, every account it exposes, and Meta finally comparable with the rest.
