What SaveAds cannot do

No writing yet: write access is being requested from LinkedIn. Creation and optimisation from SaveAds being activated.

The accounts your authorisation reaches, with their campaigns and creatives.

Integrations

LinkedIn Ads integration

LinkedIn is the platform where cost per click is frightening and the sales cycle is longest. The two go together, and change how the figures should be read.

What does the SaveAds LinkedIn Ads integration do?

The LinkedIn Ads integration reads the ad accounts the authorisation reaches, with their campaigns, budgets, spend and creatives. Today the scope granted covers advertising reporting, and a LinkedIn recommendation is applied in Campaign Manager, by you. Creating and optimising your LinkedIn campaigns from SaveAds is being activated: write access is being requested from LinkedIn.

The authorisation belongs to a person

On LinkedIn, consent is given in an individual’s name, and the ad accounts that person reaches are the ones returned. If they lose access to an account in Campaign Manager, that account stops being readable in SaveAds — which is the right behaviour, but worth knowing before connecting with a login about to change hands.

Reading B2B is not reading B2C

On LinkedIn, conversions are rare, late and expensive. A cost per acquisition computed over thirty days can mislead: the conversion that matters sometimes arrives afterwards. Short-term metrics deserve more caution here than on Google Ads or Meta.

That is also why cross-platform comparison should start with spend and volume before moving to cost per conversion.

What reading still brings

Even before creation and optimisation arrive, surfacing LinkedIn avoids the worst failure of a budget split across platforms: ignoring a line because it lives in an interface opened once a month.

Out of scope

  • No writing yet: pausing, budget and creation are being activated.
  • No audience or lead-generation form management.
  • Reading depends on the accounts the authorisation reaches, and follows the rights of the person who granted it.
  • Late conversions are not backfilled beyond what LinkedIn exposes.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be a Campaign Manager admin?

You need access to the relevant ad accounts: those are the ones that will appear. The exact right level depends on how your company is organised on LinkedIn.

Can SaveAds pause a LinkedIn campaign?

Not yet: activation is under way and will complete as soon as LinkedIn grants write access. Until then, pausing happens in Campaign Manager.

Is LinkedIn comparable with other platforms inside SaveAds?

Spend and volume, yes. Cost per conversion needs caution: B2B cycles are long and conversions land late.
